Aside from the odd looking fender vent things (doesn't flow with anything), it looks good. 70-73 Birds are one of my favorite designs.

      well I started the project..its gonna me a 71 not 70....

picked up the car in Tucson...solid body, no rust anywhere...but the sun as killed anything not metal or glass... it ran great on the way home...80 mph the whole way..

I spoke to the guys at pic-a-part for the vette donor. should order than on Monday or Tuesday...

ill be cutting the floor out, almost body drop style to sit low like the rendering, new tubs and subframes front and rear...then tying them together..
it wll be a ls3, probably with either turbos, which is kinda what I always do...but im really thinking high rev with ITB sound kinda cool...more pics to come...

      where are you located?

Just curious how far I need to drive to have you make my car look like that!

I like the nose and air dam design in the rendering. They work well together.

Not that you need to, but just as a common courtesy, you might want to contact the owner of that rendering. He posts on this forum every now and then. I contacted him several months ago because I wanted to use his design for my air dam. I have already had the air dam made by Munssey Speed & Design and the owner Jeff did an amazing job. I do know there is one other firebird in the works using this rendering also. If your interested here is what the air dam looks like in real life.

      Greg,
I have spoken to Zolland before about a Volvo he drew that I wanted to build....before the IRS came knocking :(
I have seen the Munssey piece and it is very nice, Jeff did do a great job.

this is one of the things im most excited to build...I will be shooting for this stance, since im in Arizona and everything is flat and perfect road wise . i am planning on the valance/dam possibly housing a future water core for an air to water intercooler for twin turbos... maybe, depending on how the ITB work out.
im also planning on incorporating carbon in to the splitter, the hood, and the small tail fin.

It would be really cool if you could pull off that stance. No doubt it is a pretty awesome rendering. I hope you keep this thread updated, it will be really cool to watch your build come together.
