You have enough clearance to the wheel well when bottoming out? I love this truck!

Work on the bed is progressing. I had to cut out the recess area for the license plate in the rear pan. The plate goes in the bumper so I won't be needing it and it was hitting the rear crossmember I welded in to protect the gas tank. Unfortunately I had to remove the tailgate to get at the rear pan, in doing so, all the bondo that was packed into the rust hole began to fall out, so now I have to rebuild the bed corner. Finished rebuilding the bed corner, it took 5 different pieces of sheet metal to get all the structure back .

Wheel tubs are done, got the hole cut for the gas tank filler, just have to machine a bezel to clean up the hole..

It's Hump Day! Got my axle cover welded in. I had ordered a cover online, but it came in made out of 18Ga. sheet metal, kinda flimsy. So I went to my local sheet metal shop and had one bent up out of 14Ga. same as the floor. Also decided to 3D print the bezel for around the filler neck, then welded a steel ring to the floor to bolt it to.

Slow progress, Working on my tonneau cover, frame is done, I plan on bonding on 20ga. sheet metal on top. All I need to do is figure out a hinge mechanism. Also go the exhaust finished..

Looking good! Will you add a bezel around the exhaust tip? I don't know it there's enough heat to compromise the paint.

Out of curiosity, did you support the exhaust behind the body where it exits? I want to do the same thing, but I'm worried it will rattle over bumps. That would drive me nuts.
