      Pat,

      Merry Christmas.

I noticed a few pictures back that you are using the Tanks, Inc fuel pump module and fuel gauge sender. I also noticed the rubber gaskets that you used to seal against the tank.

Do yourself a favor, order the cork gaskets and use aviation sealer. I had those rubber gaskets installed in my Cougar and they swelled within a month of being exposed to whatever gas was being sold in WI in June (e10?)...

      Andrew,
Thanks for the heads up on the rubber gasket I'll look into swapping it out.
I hope you have a great holiday and new year!

Installed the II Much vent canister, starting with punching out a 2 ½” hole where there was a 1 ¾” body plug using a knockout punch tool. This is a clean way to put holes into steel panels. Then I bent a 3/8” S/S vent line running downhill to the two tank vent fittings. I step closer to starting the bodywork.
      Thanks
      Pat

Nope. I just called Tanks, Inc. and ordered them.

Ok this is the last of the pluming work (for now ;-) Before I put all the tubing tools away I bent up the rear brake lines. As the rear has no brake line clips I made 2 weld on S/S straps to go on the U bolts and 2 S/S clips that I drilled and taped onto one of the 4 link mounts.
      Thanks
      Pat

I used 1/2" s/s tubing for both the supply and the return. I stock the 1/2" tubing and fitting where I work ;-)

I put the charger on the rotisserie so I can finish the bottom and prime it. I also have a small floor repair.
      Thanks

I haven't been on here in months, so when I logged on today, yours was the build I was most interested in looking at. I admire your details and creativity! Your work is really awesome!!

Plenty close to the ceiling but all that matters is that it clears. Good to see the next step.
