The Plasma cutter and spot weld cutter make short work of removing the right side inter wheel well. It would nice if it goes back in as easy, wishful thinking!
      Thanks

I test fit the 4 link rear today and put the rear wheels on the car for the 1st so I can setup the inter wheel wells. It’s not quit the milestone of a car coming out of the paint booth, but seeing it with the wheels on and the right stance is a close 2nd!
      Thanks

Killer stance! Looks great with all of your progress! How did you make that slit in the rear frame rails for that brace before the shock mount went in?

3/16 drill bit on the top and bottom and then I used a Dremel with a cutoff blade to cut between.
      Thank you!Pat

Before the new trunk floor gets installed I moved the wheel well flange in 2 ¼” on each side to keep an original look to the floor.
      Thanks

Remove what was left of the trunk floor and cut some dead weight out of the frame by removing the rear spring mounts. I also removed the left side trunk drop to do a little rust repair that I found when the trunk floor was removed. I could’ve bought a new trunk drop but I enjoy saving as much of the original steel as I can.
      Thanks
      Pat

Out of town for a few days working at the Miami boat show, but got back on the Charger this weekend. Remove most of the paint, undercoating, and surface rust in the trunk.
      Thanks
      Pat

Heat-gun and a putty knife and then wipe down with lacquer thinner makes quick remove of the original sound deadening.

I really like this build; so so very cool.
Are you going to be able to slide that trunk floor in thru the back seat area?

Nice job cleaning it up in there. What are you going to put back in its place for sound deadening?

Yes with the inter wheel wells out and the package tray cross braces removed it will go in from the back seat area.
      Thank you!

I'm not sure yet as I'm not sure how I will finish the trunk (stock or custom?)
