I installed the steering column and the custom thicker grip steering wheel I made a few years ago. The thicker steering wheel is so much more comfortable then the thin original.
      Thanks

Lots of pretty parts. I like the fact that you leave the key in it. I can stop by and go for a drive when I'm close by.

Installed the right side vent and door glass this week end. Very happy with the aftermarket power window regulator.
      Thanks

Yes, and I’m very happy with the Nu-Relic. We used Electric life On my sons bulllitt mustang and we’re not happy with them. The engine needed to be running to give it enough power to fully go up and down, and even then they would struggle.
      Thanks

It’s all fun until somebody puts an eye out ;-) I only hope the other 3 go on and work as smoothly.
      Thanks

I used Nu Relics on my 51 because of not finding a bad review on them. One of my friends that builds lots of cars recommended them, also. I did have a wiring harness problem but they took care of it. When you would use one of the switches, it would blow the fuse. When I called in, they had me check the wiring with colors. My harness didn't have those colors in it.

I Installed the passenger side rear window and trim. The AMD quarter glass was a heavy 1/16” taller on the rear 12 inches compared to the original. So I had to sand it down with a DA sander to get the best fit. All of the AMD glass has a rough finish on edge so I use the DA sander starting with 60 grit and working my way to 180 to polished edges that shows.
      Thanks

Looks like you’re getting close to having a sealed off cabin. 🥳

I’ve learned so much from this thread.

If that glass is tempered be careful sanding it down. You will explode it into a million pieces. I work in the glass industry and sometimes u can sand them down quite a bit then the next day they will explode. Tempered glass is touchy

I come from a family of Glaser‘s my father, brother, and two uncles we’re all in the glass business. Wonder how I ended up in the boat business ;-)

I like the way you protect your parts. It's obvious that you have done this before and probably have learned from that. The phrase "you can't be too careful when assembling" comes to mind.
