Congratulations, Pat! Did it start almost instantly after priming the fuel system? As young man, one of my goals with every vehicle was to knock off the muffler for a while. I don't think we get past that with age. It just takes shorter periods to quench the thirst.

After watching your level of patience through this project, I don't expect it to go anywhere until the proper seat is in it.

Pat, can you describe how your switch for the cut-outs work? Seems you just flipped an on-off switch and they went full open/full closed which is how I'd like to set some up on my car, but I've found that most require you to hold the switch until it's full open or full closed... would appreciate your thoughts and details please.

I used Granatelli oval electronica cut outs. They were the only ones that I could find that made a one touch electronica exhaust cut outs. They have a small circuit board that reads the amp load when the motor fully opens or fully closes to shut off the circuit. Very cool how it works!
      see the link below!
      Thanks!

The reproduction Map pocket cufflinks did not look as nice as my originals (3rd pic) Unfortunately removing the originals doesn’t leave enough of the stud to reattach to the new panels. So I used my Weld Mount studs and epoxy on longer threaded studs making the cufflinks installation very simple. I think the 68 map pocket is a little big for today’s maps;-)

I have never seen a map in the door pockets. Everything else but. Is the door clear insulator plastic repro or did you use blank sheet and make your own?

Legendary‘s carpet set fits great with a few modifications and the addition of some foam to fill the gap around the modified shifter tunnel. It’s nice that they make this carpet extra long at the firewall so you cannot see any of firewall. Just letting it relax for a few days with a some 25 pound lead bags.
      Thanks
