Very nice and clean Pat, as always.

Did you put anything on the back of the relays to keep them from resonating against the core support?

With the battery being relocated to the trunk and needing a few direct to battery power connections I made a breaker/switchbox to be located in the trunk. The 12”x 9” box holds a remote battery disconnect and starter solenoid. It also has a series of breakers for the alternator line, dash power, subwoofer, fuel pump, fuel injection, and a few other low amperage items. I still have a few details to work out, then disassemble the box and paint it black along with labels for the breakers before I install it.
      Thanks

Interesting solution. Is this box something you built or are they available off the shelf?

Also, intrigued about using circuit breakers instead of fuses. Do they wire up the same as a fuse (inline)?

No, I made it for the car. Someone may make one off the shelf??

Breaker and fuses install the same way and do the same thing, (protecting the line) the advantage of the breaker is it is quickly reset as well as disconnected.
      Thanks

I will hold off from calling it the final assembly as not to jinx the final assembly ;-)

Am I correct in seeing there is a manual override in case of remote failure?

Yes it’s a very cool battery disconnect switch that can be operated both electrically or manually we use them on the yachts we build and sell.

Made some progress with most of the wiring under the dash and installing the dash along with all the AC ductwork. And put some fuel in the tank so I wouldn’t accidentally run the in tank fuel pump dry. Hope to have it running in 3 or 4 weeks.
      Thanks

Race gas. Under the dash always gets full. You build a bigger car, you put more stuff in. I like your floor mats. I may invest in some.
