Pat, I appreciate the fact that you like your new gun but I'm pretty sure you could paint this with a brush and it would look great. Still trying to be patient while waiting.

Painted the fenders today, and as with the rest of the body panels everything will be wet sanded with 1000 grit and two more coats of clear will be applied.
      Thanks
      Pat

I have enormous admiration for the set of skills you have here, and am very grateful for you taking the time to document progress - these painted parts look so good! I suspect everyone following is on the edge of their seats waiting to see how it all looks together, I certainly am. Best wishes everyone on here for 2018.

Painted the trunk lid and a few small parts last night. Last big part to do is the hood and then I will pull the body in the booth.
      Thanks

Pat, if you have an extra trunk lid around I'd love to have you paint it so I can make into a desk! LOL

But really, how cool would that be to have at work!

Thank you, I’m very happy so for how everything is coming out but I still have to block stand all the panels down and apply 2 more coats of clear before I’ll be in the cut and buffing stages. I’m so looking forward to that part of the project, I think ;-)

You’re right that would make a great desk as it’s very flat, however it would be much cooler the have the desk at home and not have to go to work at all ;-)
      Thanks

Paint the bottom of the hood. I think the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter after I cleaned the overspray on my glasses ;-)
      Thanks
