Was out of town for a few days and while away a package from the gates of Valhalla all shiny and chrome was delivered (actually it was my bumpers from Paul's chrome ;-) I will test mount them this weekend to confirm the fit along with my new aluminum bumper mounts.
      Thanks

I was happy to find that my aluminum bumper brackets fit great and have no movement whatsoever. Not sure I would use the original bumper jack, but that was never going to happen anyway ;-)
      Thanks

You did a nice job tucking them in. They went back on nice and straight.

not sure if you covered this already, but what are you doing for air flow in the booth?

At one and I have four 20 x 20 x 4" thick inlet air filters and at the other end of the paint booth there are two windows that I installed a box over with six slide in 20x25 X1" thick discharge filters and two 20" exhaust fans
      Thanks

The attention to detail on your car is amazing. The bumpers came out great.

Thank you Sam! That so called attention to detail, I think has cost me another year in this build ;-)

You did a really good job of recreating those bumper supports. We could see those being one fo those things that look great when you do them but then aren't even close when you go to install. The fact that they were dead on shows the skill you have.

We can't wait to see it sprayed!

Nobody was more surprised than me that they fit with no modifications sometimes you just get lucky ;-)
      Thank you

For the first time in over 3 years my Charger has moved! Only about 15' ;-) from one side of the shop to the other but it's definitely a big milestone. I will start to clean the paint booth to get it ready for painting. All the block sanding (600 grit) is finished. I just need to take the fenders, doors, hood, and trunk off and detail the jams.
      Thanks
      Pat

I'm always aware of how many steps it takes to do a project well. It's still somewhat painful even watching someone else go through it. I'm rootin' for you.

VERY nice project! Great attention to detail. Sweet homemade paint booth too. Can't wait to see the final project!

I agree, I love the practicality of the booth almost as much as I love all the minor details that got such major attention in this build. I'm sure the paint will be nothing less than flawless like the rest of this car.

Two Aleve a day helps with the pain ;-)
