When i put in my sub frame connectors i just welded the top seam roughly one or of every three to four inches. Not much strenght to be gained fully welding to sheet metal so i didn't waste the time and materials welding all that length

I installed the US Car Tool core support today and fit great with just a little grinding. I order it without the holes as I like the original look. Next to the subframe connectors and torque boxes it is one the best stiffener you can add to a Mopar! I ground down and radiuses the weld so it would look original. You could jack the car up from the core support now!
      Thanks
      Pat

I received a few more pictures of my front wheels. The red and black paint in the center cap should make them pop!
      Thanks!

Received the wheels Friday and they exceeded my expectations. I will paint the red and black details in the center cap soon and hope to get the tires mounted next week.
      Thanks

I’m still working on the colors but I think it is close to the original hub cap colors. I also ordered the motor today, an aluminum gen III 6.1 Hemi stroked to 426 ci and about 650 hp
      Thanks

Really cool! Really like the idea of doing the wheels that way. They turned out great!

I finished the rust repair on the right side quarter panel, it required 3 small patch panels and a little fender well repair. The trunk floor extensions have some pits but require no repair just a coat of POR 15.
      Thanks

I also had the tires mounted on the new wheels but I have yet to cut in the mini tub so I had to put the front wheels on the rear for pictures as the 12” wheel with the 335 tire don’t fit the car yet.
      Thanks
      Pat

Thanks! My son's Bullitt Mustang was a fun build but he is off to school so I have to do all the work on this car. Next car will be a 1940's woody for my wife (the Kee in Keepat) and I'll put her to work ;-)
      Thank You!

I plan on testing a 3/16 black line on the outer rim as it is on the original hub cap. I’m having 17 7/8”x 3/16 vinyl ring made to check the look.

I installed a vinyl black ring on one of the wheels to match the black line on the hub caps and I like the look. Hard to see the black line in the pictures but I think it finishes the look of the wheel.
      Thanks
