Awesome fab work Pat. What grinding tool/discs are you using to clean up the welds, etc. I assume for the small inside frame areas you are using a dremel, dynafile or something similar?

I use whatever I can fit into the spot, you named a few and there are other special tools that I have. I'll post some pictures next time I'm doing some grinding work
      Thank you

I think what I love most about this build is how well thought out it is. Its not a wild build but it has just as many custom touches. everything has a reason for why it is the way it is and there is now doubt that in the end it will just work. Will you be doing the body work yourself as well or will you be farming it out?

Yes I will do the body and paint, and I'm so looking forward to that stage of this build!

I had a small section of the driver’s side floor with pin holes that needed to be replaced. I cut about 18” from a new left side floor pan and grafted it along the cross member so it would be hard to tell if it was repaired. Some high-build primer should make any imperfections disappear.

As you have moved around the body, I'm reminded of the good and the bad of the 60's production methods. You certainly have removed alot of the bad. I'm also mindful that you started with a pretty good car.

Starting with a good car saves a lot of time. It will cost more up front but it saves you $$ in the end!
      Thanks
