I'm planning on making the event. The Camaro broke on the way home from the motorama. got about a mile and half from the track and the right rear wheel cylinder hung open, trying to lock up the brakes. I am now replacing all the rear brakes, and thinking of replacing the front too. Also changed the rubber brake lines to braided ones. I want Baer brakes, but can't afford that right now.

Glad you made it home, and have a plan. I'm sure that tow bill sucked though!!

Registration is up on the American Streetcar Series website, but it says Friday and Saturday (27th and 28th) as opposed to Saturday and Sunday.
Can someone please confirm that this is a Friday and Saturday event?

Thanks Robert! Yeah tow bill sucked, but made it home. Rear brakes fixed, and going to replace the front as well. I'm not sure but it looked like the wheel cylinders were original. I have owned the car for 26 years, and never replaced them. Time for some new parts.

I registered for one day. Not sure if I'll be able to make it Friday so if I do, I'll wrangle cones one day and drive the other day.

Is the PSMC just Auto-X or are there other events too? Is there a tentative schedule set already with the Friday and Saturday event start times?

      Thanks,

Steve , It's just gonna be autocross in the big parking lot out front of the speedway .
It should start early both days.
We will get there at 7am and start in the early morning, then run till 4 or 5pm, maybe a bit later because of the long summer days .

Will there be a charge for spectators? If so, how much?

      Thanks.

I'm out, going to have to put an engine in my Expedition. I'll be down to watch at least one day.

Oh man I'd love to make it down for Saturday! If I can get the new brakes dialed in that is.

The last one was my first autocross experience! Good memories!

I ran the autocross at the Motorama last month and was wondering if there were any additional safety requirements for the PSMC such as helmet, shoulder belts, etc?
