I upgraded to newer style of SPC control arms. The new design is made from stronger materials. And uses a bolt in style spring seat. My original set used a cup that secured the seat and spacers. This is how you can change ride height without a coil over. And allows you to change to a coil over by using one of the 1/4 shims to spread out the load of the lower shock bolts. A feature bolt arms have. The new version also had two holes to mount the sway bar end links to.

Knock on wood I've never had an issue with my original arms. With the sticky 275s and going over 1g in autocross corners this gives more piece of mind.

Ran into a small issue changing arms the bump stop hardware doesn't drop inside the new arms. After doing some googling it's called a hex sex bolt, barrel
Bolt or Chicago bolt. Not having much luck finding them online. I'm debating sanding them down to fit our drilling the sleeve the arm out to fit. But I have sold the arms to a friend and still will need hardware and two new bump stops. From what I can see they don't come with the bump stops from spc
