For the tailgate, I want to go old race car inspired. I am thinking about just a more race approach to factory. Maybe just using stainless aircraft cable instead of chain and something like a hood pin with cotter pin to hold it shut. I have a couple of ideas but nothing on paper [or metal!]

I checked the Crafty-B gas cap it looks really nice (classic look). I wanted to use a Shelby cobra gas cap in the he original location but since I had to put the tank under the bed I went with this :

      Update...

Had to cut the floorboard to fit the 6R80 transmission and put a cover. I didn't want a huge hump on the floor but this was the smallest without touching the trans.

Good eye! I will move the brake pedal closer to the steering column.
The problem that I currently have is where to relocate the battery. I'm going to cover the floor with dynamat and put a carpet, and don't want to leave a hole for the battery.

Get a drop out battery box from No Limit ... It can be mounted to the frame and you can drop out below by just removing one fastener ...

      Something like this?

I built this with surplus aircraft hardware.

Very nice! What's up with the holes in the front outside edges of the hood? Hood latches?

Bodyshop didn't like the oem hood lock (at high speeds).
The bench seat is made of real leather
