Guys and Gals, If you want top notch looking sound equipment and quality installation, Check out Theshopllc...

I had Clint & Jessie do an install in my 69 Camaro and couldn't be any happier, The Kick panels & rear speaker deck looks unbelievable, and the JL Audio Sub, Mids & Highs really sound great..
I have told some of my friends that own 1st Gen Camaros and now they want Theshopllc to do an install for them..

Are you guys running their single 10" JL sub and enclosure? Is it sufficient bass or would 2 subs be the better option? I've got a 69 firbird and i was planning on running 2 - 10" JL 10w3. For space conservation in the trunk I'm considering running their single box with the JL 10w6 v3 that they recommend for the box, but I'm worried it won't provide the low end I want/need. I listen to a lot of hip hop, R&B, type music. I'm currently planning on running a 5 channel Hertz amp if its sufficient, or if I need to I can consider a sub amp as well if it will get me what I need? Any input would be great! thanks.

I purchased the kick panels for my '68 Camaro - no speakers, wrapped and I have to say that they look amazing. The quality is second to none. They will be getting installed very soon I hope

I'm running the single 10" JL 10W3 sub in the box theshopllc makes, it provides plenty of BASS I actually had to have the JL amp gain turned down it was so much BASS. They installed all JL components for mids & highs as well.

    Thanks

Hi scott, so your actually running the 10W3 in their box instead of the 10W6? Do you know what the actual cubic feet of the box is? On their website it doesn't list it, but they recommend the 10W6 which I believe can operate in a smaller enclose than the 10W3. I may need to give them a call on Monday to see what my best option is. I have already bought 2 - JL10W3's as I was planning on running two subs, but now I'm trying to figure out how to save as much trunk space as possible while fitting the air ride tank, battery, sub(s) and amp all in the trunk closest to the back of the seat. I thought I could put both subs under the 6x9 locations, but once those are in the hang to low for a box to hold the 10's. I just didn't think I'd be happy with a single 10" but I may not have a choice.

What kind of power are you running to your 10? Separate sub amp or multi channel and what brand? thanks.

Wow, that install looks awesome! The leather stitched seats are giving me some great ideas. Wish you guys were closer to the West Coast as it would be great to have you do the work on my 69 Firebird. I ended up buying one of your sub boxes as I'm trying to save some space in the trunk and I also have the AirRide Tank and battery to mount. Have you guys ran a 10w3 in your box before and how did it compare? I know it usually requires more air space, so I wasn't sure if I would have to buy a new sub.

Thanks a ton for the good words. We sure have ran the W3 , go ahead and pop a little polyfill in the box and let it rip!
