I started with fabricating the upper-inner control arm pivots as far inward as possible which brought them inside the frame rails. It's a lot of extra work but well worth it for a narrow English-boddied car to have good suspension geometry.

Here I moved the lower-inner control arm pivot up and inward to complement the wheel offset as well as the lowered ride-height. The pivot was also swung back to clear the steering rack. Space is limited!Name: IMG_1378 - Copy.JPG

Not necessarily. I thought there was some sort of history behind the name.

I've been watching a YouTube channel called Throttle Stop Garage, and the guy is building a Volvo Canadian...(which is also known as a 122S or Amazon in other markets) with a bunch of custom, home made carbon fiber parts and he goes into great detail on how to. I'd also be curious about the history behind the name.

When introduced, the car was named the Amason (with an 's'),[7] deriving from the fierce female warriors of Greek mythology, the Amazons. German motorcycle manufacturer Kreidler had already registered the name, and the two companies agreed that Volvo could only use the name domestically (i.e., within Sweden), modifying the spelling to Amazon

Yes JayinIM, I've been watching the Throttle Stop Garage guy for some time now. His build is amazing! I do have experience with building carbon fiber aircraft but I'll stick to steel (mostly on this one.
