backspacing is a different indication and way of measuring than ET... ET is the amount of mm that the mounting face is from the center line of the wheel +number is face more towards outside of the wheel, -number is face more to inside of the wheel. I think you know how BS is measured. So a 7" wheel with ET 6 will translate to BS 4.25" and an 8" wheel ET 6 would be BS 4.75"

since these are 2 different types of measurements it could be a choice.... otherwise just call it backspacing since this is more common in the US.
The formula for ET to BS is: (25.4/ET) + ((wheelwidth+1)/2)

Larry, Can you add MSD distributor & box to engine management and Hooker to exhaust manufacturer please. Can you add sections to transmissions for torque converter manufacturer and management manufacturer for the auto trans crowd, and shifter brand for everyone? In brakes section can you add a section for Line Lock that's a simple yes/no?

      Larry,
Could add "Sun" to gauge selection. Also, how about a "Steering Wheel Manufacturer" with selection to include NARDI? Also, rear brake mfg to include "GM WS6"?

Larry, Can you add an "additional information" to each category? Maybe a box we could type in with say a hundred characters that one could write things like "This is a clone car" or "This is a fastback conversion" if it is in the "Basic Info" section or in "engine" things like "This is a stroker road race set up with blah, blah, blah".

Would you add Accel ignition to management, C-4 and C-6 to transmissions, and number of pistons to rear brakes?

      cool im in, first truck!

some of this might be a little nit picky but:

-the GMC choice for S10 should be S15
      -add paint colors:
purple, grey, orange, tan/beige, maybe olive drab, pink
maybe add another drop down for metalic, pearl, chameleon, pattern, vinyl wrap, etc
      -add mallory ignition
      -add patriot exhasut.

acutually heres a short list of exhaust brands i pulled from summitracing
      Advance Adapters
      AFCO Racing
      AFE Power
      ATP
      Banks Power Gale Banks Engineering
      BBK Performance
      Beyea Custom Headers
      Borla
      Classic Performance
      DC Sports
      Detroit Speed Inc
      Doug Thorley Headers
      Doug's Headers
      Dynatech
      Edelbrock
      Flaming River
      Flowmaster
      Flowtech
      Ford Racing
      Gibson Performance Exhaust
      Granatelli Motor Sports
      Hedman Hedders
      Hooker Headers
      Howe Racing
      JBA Headers
      JR Race Car
      Kooks Headers
      MBRP Performance Exhaust
      Mopar Performance
      PaceSetter Performance
      Patriot Exhaust
      Pfadt Race Engineering
      Pypes Performance Exhaust
      Quick Time Performance
      Rugged Ridge
      Sanderson Headers
      Schoenfeld Headers
      Scott Drake
      SLP Performance
      Summit Racing
      Trick Flow Specialties
      Vibrant Performance

in fact for just about most of these drop down manufacturers you can sort through parts on summit, then just copy and paste the brands list?

-add bowtie overdrives to Tourqe Converter Manufacturer drop down
-add a color option to the wheels section
-add custom option for suspension, and/or just a text box
-add 5 point cage, even though i probably the only person with one

thats all for now, pics all uploaded fine for me

I added a lot from the last few posts. I didn't add all the exhaust manufactures. I only added ones I thought were appropriate for our Pro-Touring type cars

      Larry,

Convertible? Maybe change into body style…with following choices: sedan, hardtop, coupe, convertible, SUV, pick-up, truck and then number of doors..?

      Commetns about engine
      Should be Comments

Exhaust…maybe make 1 pulldown for header brand and 1 for exhaust brand (Patriot/flowmaster in my case)

Larry, Please add Mallory ignition to Engine Management.

Can you add a comments box to Exhaust, Transmission, Brakes, Rear End, and Suspension? That would allow people to explain things (like drum brakes, air ride, etc.) not covered by the drop box menus.

Fix spelling of Accessory in Engine section.

Fix spelling of "comments" in Comments about engine.

Change the steering wheel diameter to a box for numeric and add a Comments box for interior so people can explain Vintage Air or whatever..

Would you add an Image box to events so people can put a pic there.

Fix spelling of the word "built" in the builder section where it says "Who built it"
