F-Body pan clears the rack but interferes with two bolts on the back of the crossmember. Engine needs to go back.

      J,
Do you have the factory A/C pump laying around there? If you do, try to bolt it on. Hopefully it clears in the stock location.

It wouldn't even clear the engine mount plates(without the engine in the chassis).

      Double checking the geometry

Things to note: Driver side spindle is different than Passenger. The passenger side design is our new custom set-up. It is based on a C10 pin and uses the factory lower ball joint with a heavy duty Moog upper. The steering arm is removable and helped us attain the geometry and turning radius we desired.

How's this for ground clearance? We tried and accomplished keeping all suspension parts on the same plane as the bottom of the frame.

Set up looks really good. What is the planned ride height (frame to ground)?

I checked it a few months ago and the front crossmember was 7" off the ground with a 26" tall tire. I know they've made some revisions to the crossmember, spindles and control arms since then so I will double check it asap.

WOW!!! With a 26" tall tire the crossmember will be 5.5" off the ground with a dropped spindle.

Can I ask why you kept drum brakes in the rear?
If I missed the explanation in an earlier post I apologize.
My only thoughts are perhaps this rear end is for mock up purposes?

We will certainly have Wilwoods on this truck at all 4 corners and more than likely a Currie 9". Just haven't got to that point yet.

The most readily available track we have is called Adams Motorsports Park. It's a 3/4 mile track that is technical with speeds averaging 60 mph. This will likely be the place where most of the testing happens but I wouldn't rule out Willow Springs or the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.

We were out at Adams two weeks ago in our '68 Camaro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbif...rdmGfxpvg0DH0g

Sal looks on as 'Tony Tech' installs the massive 31" tires and wheels onto the truck. We will be measuring for proper wheels and tires in the next week or so.

We finished up some first articles this week. The long tedious process of confirming fixtures and parts begins now.

      Stock parts = #342 lbs

TCI parts = 270 lbs (Total weight savings of 72 lbs)

We also picked up a 2nd chassis to use as a rolling display. It just happened to be a longbed so we made a How-To to show the process.

Been watching this thread enough that I actually joined the forum so I could follow it better... seriously interested in this set up..

I'm curious, will you be able to use a aftermarket cross-member with exhaust cut outs?

We would have to do some test fitting to make sure but there is a bunch of room under the cab.

Our brand new rolling display is on the way to the Columbus Goodguys.
