Really like the build, but Im Curious as to why you made the engine cage and bed cage bolt onto the cab instead of running all the tubes into the cab welding them making the cage 1 piece versus 3

I wanted to be able to remove the cab without having to make floor pans.

How often are you removing the cab?

Once to paint it is enough for me. We use plates and roll carge couplers all the timr in off road rigs all the time and have had no failures so they should work fine on this truck. If it was a all out race car and I had the extra funds to have the fram and inside the cab powdercoated then I may have done it different. When I paint a street car it gets painted inside and out. And I did not care to try to paint the top of the frame and bottom of the floors with it together. And now if the kid wrecks it on the way to school and can easily swap out a section and repaint it without doing the whole truck. Or if he decides he wants a non chopped cab in a year we just have to work the cab and replace the one we have.

Not a 60's car,its a 1952 Austin Sumerset. It belongs to my boss I will get some pics of it. I think it looks like a bunch of clowns are going to jump out of it at any second lol but a lot of peole like it. We are putting a straight axle under it and a Rover all alluminum enging in it . I gues you could say its going to be a little english gasser.

Very nice build. Makes me think about getting rid of the bags in my C15.
