I hope to get mine fired up in the next week or two, but I went with Kooks LTs, 3" Spintech Xpipe, and 3" Spintech Sportsman mufflers (dumped). Cant wait to hear it!!! :D

I have the same set-up on my '68 and love the agressive sound they put out. There's nothing that beats the Pypes violators if you want a mean sound and get noticed everywhere you go!!

Have to agree. I have them on my '05 GTO and love them... wish they were a tad louder actually. What is controversial about them?

I guess because it's not one of the more known popular exhaust systems. Love em. Looking to convert my other systems over.

By chance do you have another video with cruise & idle? Sounds great at WOT, but I'd like to hear them at non "scare the neighbors" pace as well.

This setup sounds great too. Reasonably tame at idle/cruise and a nice howl at WFO.

I love the sound of the Borla XR1's on my 98 T/A. I think they go particularly well with LSx engines.

I've had borla xr1, flomaster original 40s and corsa sports

Borla XR1 - sounded good. Weren't too loud or too quiet. Just perfect and sounded great when you get on it. However, at idle I did not like how they sounded. They muffled the cam too much and you couldn't really here that chop coming through the tail pipes

Flow master - about the same sound level as borla. Had that classic muscle car sound but again at idle they muffled the cam sound and I didn't get that nice idle I was looking for

Corsa Sport - bought these for a 2013 mustang v6. They sound awesome. They have that idle sound I like and sounds like a new Vette. I'm running 2.5" exhaust with pipe and it now sounds really good. Took me a while and a few tries at the exhaust shop but I'm now done. I'm hoping there will be no drone with these as the corsas are drone free and both other mufflers droned really bad.

Used em on a couple builds and was very impressed, sorry no audio clip to share.
I'm currently running straight 3" open exhaust from headers, sounds great and mean but when I mash the pedal it gets REAL loud, I'm planning to put spintechs on in the very near future
