Making heavy handle

Hello to fellow gear heads and garage wrench turners, I have a new project and as I've had several car builds in the past, this Monte pushes the envelope for a dual purpose machine, I acquired this car on a trade and its a decent platform to start with, needs some TLC and more power to get what I'm aiming for, and long will not be easy yet I'm going to be very happy with what I can make happen. Everything is a compromise just going for excellent and good handling.



Currently has a 383, TH400 from Hugh's 3k stall and a FAb9 with Wilwood brakes, goal is to add more power and a Gear Vendors so the trans can be good on the highway too and strong.

Enjoy the drag races yet love to push some turns as well, just have to see what needs done to fit some rubber up front, maybe a 275, just have to see if its possible without fab work, any hints / guidance will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
