I left the start line for about 5 minutes and went to the "cone shaggers" tent.

Saturday night under the lights started off with all the cars lining up three wide on the speedway for a photo shoot.

I was lucky enough to drive Bill's Charger for the photo shoot then take it for a couple laps on the road course...too cool!

If you ever get the chance to be at an event and Karl is there in Blu-Balz, you have to check out the gauges. They are the new Nascar ones...and are wicked!!!

A great photo of Blu-Ballz by AJ McPherson of BFGoodrich.

We were all so pumped up from running at night that alot of us just kinda stopped and hung out in the pits for a while. It really was one of those moments where we all knew that we had just participated in something special....and terrifying.

After lunch we all went to the speedway and had the speed/stop challenge. This consisted of a lap around the speedway then stopping in a 100' long stop box next to the pit wall. I was the flag man so I would flag the drivers when they came to a complete stop. Then they would take off and do another lap but this time they would end up going through the timing cones at the high end of the track right off of turn four. These cars were screaming!!!

At the awards ceremony the American Strretcar Series presented the crew from Jet Hot this awesome banner for all their support at the event.

Jet Hot really did a great job at this event. We couldnt have done it without you all!!! That company really "gets" this sport and really really supports us. Thanks again guys and gals!!!

      **on a side note**

Did anyone know that there is a full size, to scale, replica of the Greek Parthenon in the middle of Nashville? Jeff Lee was our tour guide after the event was over since Kim and I were leaving Monday morning. This thing was AWESOME!!!! Thanks Jeff!

That's all I have. The event was 12 hours away and we didn't bring a car to drive in the event. We came down to volunteer our time and to hang out with some good friends.

I want to thank the American Streetcar Series, especially Bill Howell, Brian Finch, Yancy Johns, and JB Grainger, and Jet Hot, especially Cheryl Herrick and Steve Anderson for doing these events and just making Kim and I feel like familly. You all are why this lil niche in our sport is so amazing! These events are my vacation and are the best times of my life. I met alot of new people at this event and hope we all stay in touch.

See you at the next event.
