      mufflers

What kind of mufflers you people runing on your 67-72 Chevy trucks and if you have pics or videos that be great. I want to run a 21/2 or 3 inch pipe any exhaust systems besides magnaflow I'm runing flow tech headers already! I don't want a annoying muffler more deep rumble still want great hp and torque.

I'm running the Hushpower Pro Series 3" exaust. I'll get a pic or 2 posted soon, but in the mean time, check out this youtube video of a sound test of them.

I run a full 3" stainless system (fully tucked) with Flowmaster Delta 50s on my LS427, I also run Vibrant GESI cats to clean it up without power loss (The ones I use are zero power loss up to 1000hp in pairs). At the moment I only have photos of the cats and collectors.

It sounds great and hides my power nicely, until you get into it. Deep tone, no rasp. I'd love to have raunchy mufflers, but I use my truck to haul my 11 month old son around too. Yes, I'm making an attempt to grow up.

Think about running a couple of big truck mufflers with a pair of electric cutouts. Very, very quiet when you need it and very, very "raunchy" (to borrow the term ) when you don't... AND the ability to run anywhere in between.

Here's a shot of the Hushpower mufflers. Barely fit.... they do come in "shorty" style also. Once the body is finished and on we'll finish out the tail pipes to exit just in front of the rear tires.

Speaking of big truck mufflers...I have a video with two on my c10 (ls based engine). These have a nice crisp sound with little rumble or drone. 3.5" hole straight through the center doesn't hurt power either.
