Thanks, I apply the epoxy to bare metal. I do use weld through between weld joints.

I repaired the upper dash panel by cutting the leading edge off and repairing with a Chevelle piece.

Looks nice. I've got the same issue on my car and wasn't sure how to handle it, but this helps! I really like that three GTO builds are going on and are all being mini tubbed.
