      I run them, the battery box I made only fits them. Hindsight is 20/20 though, odyssey is Def a lighter better battery...
      I have a red top less than a yr old I swapped in favor of a yellow top.

      I was just home after 6 months over seas. My wife was suppose to drive my truck every couple weeks to keep the battery charged and what not. Battery went dead once a couple months ago and she charged it, and it was dead again when I got home a couple weeks ago. I charged it with my optima charger and had no problems with it for the 2 weeks I was home. I'm pretty sure that battery is at least 5 years old. There's no way a 5 year old lead acid battery could go totally dead twice and still work just fine.

      For $155 I'll keep buying Optimas. I've had 6 with no problems. If one in 10 fails early I'm ok with that. Any of the better batteries are significantly more money.
