      It depends. In some states, that’s considered vin tampering - big no no.

      Can't do that in california at all, if I'm not mistaken it's illegal.

      Well on a sec gen it’s not uncommon for people to replace the cowl panel. I guess it depends on how you go about it. If you cut it out and weld it into the new panel...

      Personally I would contact the AMD Installation Center and have the original body professionally rebuilt with new AMD sheet metal.

      Happy New Year!! I ordered up a Real Deal Steel shell with a mini tub option after doing some research. Going to use my original doors and trunk lid. Have completed my BBC 427 engine build. Dyno tested 508HP 524TQ. Got a long way to!!!
