Thanks everyone! One of the things that I really like about our sport is how everyone supports each other, while we are all chasing our dreams. It was truly an honor to be selected at Run To The Alamo for the Spirit of the Event Award, and to get an optima Challenge invitation. The optima Invitational has been one of my goals ever since I first read about it. Thank you Bill, Yancy, and Brian for getting these events started in the first place, and now for taking them to the next level with the creation of the American Street Car Series. If it were not for the original " RUN TOs" there probably wouldn't be an OUSCI today. Thank you also to Jimi Day, the Optima people, and all the sponsors for putting on such an awesome event, and for giving me a chance to run over a video camera too.

Yeah Jeff I had the Mustang. I was supposed to be driving the Camaro, but it didn't show. cough cough
It probably wouldn't of helped anyway. It doesn't have rain tires either. ;)

Shmooz, I couldn't get anything warm much less burning like usual

Jim N. yeah then I could have shown you the perfect place to follow me off

Slo - Z Now that I'm out off the car closet. I guess I was just trying to lower the stress level of two overlapping builds by keeping BB quite. The funny thing is that the Gonzo Racing Blu Balz was ready to race, and Jason Huber at G-force Designs had the T/A virtually ready. Both of them are just bad a**, but neither was available. So I drive the Mustang down to Texas, and I end up getting the invite in a car that I have just been pounding on, learning, until the T/A was ready, that I had built with hopes of someday getting into optima. Ain't life weird?

Thanks Brandon, Ron, Tim, Eric I appreciate it. It sure surprised me.

LOL!!!! No Tom. It was you that was doing the flying last weekend. I was stuck in a wet phone booth.

Things that I hadn't previously associated with driving: looking for the dry line, dodging the puddles, driving off line, and my favorite crossing the river.

Thanks Dave. I wasn't trying to copy BMF, but I really like your car too! It makes multiple appearances on my screen saver! I was looking foward to running with you west coast guys at RTTC, but its during my sons spring break, and he and his buddies want to go skiing.

Hey Mark, going to the big show, ha,ha,ha, never would have thunk it.

Haha good stuff. And thank you Karl. That's nice to read. Bummer you won't make RTTC. But will see you somewhere soon and best of luck at optima.
