      1969 z/28 pro touring project

****EDIT**** MY WIFE TALKED ME INTO KEEPING IT. IF SOMETHING COMES UP IN THE FUTURE WHERE IT NEEDS TO GO, I'LL LET YOU GUYS KNOW. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

Factory 1969 Camaro z28 x33 car. Factory firewall. Everything I've done up to this point, I made sure the car could be returned if ever desired. Off the top of my head I came up with right around $65,000 worth of parts alone (not including the car), and I'm sure I missed a lot. Most still new in box. This car has never been on the road.

This absolutely breaks my heart. I've been working on this for going on 5 years, and unfortunately will not ever have the time to finish it. I have some major projects around the house that need attention, so need to step back from this. Clear Missouri title in my name.

      Quick parts list:

      Schwartz G-machine chassis

      ridetech coil overs

      Forgeline SP3S 18x9/18x12 with rivals 275 or 285 front, 335 rear

      Wilwood 6p fr/4p rr with 13" rotors

Moser floater 9in with truetrac 3.50

Texas Speed built 7.0l LS7 still in the crate. Built entirely by them starting with a new block. Forged internals, 12:1cr, wcch stage ii heads, ats road race pan, wet sump

      Wegner diamond cut front drive

Fast lsxr102 intake, Nick Williams 102tb

Griffin radiator with welded AN fittings

PSI harness, e38 ecm, dbw pedal

T56 magnum close ratio, QuickTime scatter shield, Hurst blackjack shifter

Inland driveshaft aluminum with 1350 forged slip yoke

Anvil carbon fiber hood, cowl panel, vent panel, rear package tray piece, deck lid, spoiler

ridetech tigercage with roadrace bars and harness bar

      Recaro seats, sliders, Planted mounts

      Ididit column

DSE dash insert and BW gauges pulled from Mark Steilows "Jackass"

Body is rust free and mini tubbed, front lower aprons smoothed

Fesler latch, door handles, taillights, vents etc

Ring Bros handles and hood hinges

      Clayton machine pedals

      5th Gen Camaro console

Endura front bumper, smoothed rear bumper with shaved bolts

Pro touring front spoiler and tow point mounted to chassis that peeks through

      Tanks tank with 400lph pump

I may work a deal on keeping the engine and maybe trans, but I AM NOT interested in selling any parts at all off it.

      ****NO LONGER FOR SALE****

Message me and I can get you my phone number if needed, and pictures of anything specific. Terrible pictures, these are all the pictures I had on my phone right now though.

Just thumbing through some old post and saw yours. Did you over finish building your car?

I didn't .. I got the tifercage in a little over a year ago and it's been shoved sideways against the back wall in a 2 car garage ever since. Our little guy is 13mo old and I really have no clue when I'll ever get back to the car.

I probably would consider it... I know what I paid for the setup but don't know what a fair price would be? Tires and wheels have 0 miles on them.

Forgeline sp3p 18x12 rear 18x9 or 9.5 front. Polished outer and satin titanium center and inner barrel. Tires are BFG rivals 335/30 rear 285/35 I think front.

I'll keep you in mind. Not going to say I wouldn't sell it, as it kills me to just see it sit.

Sorry, no. I don't want to split anything off that needs to stay with it.

It says it's an X11 car which is NOT a Z/28. So its either not an X11 or not a Z/28, not that any of that matters in the modified state that's its in for a pro touring car.

Just came across this as I'm considering selling the Forgelines.
Sorry, my mistake. I had another x11 at the time and had my brain twisted. It's an X33D80 Rallye green (79 79) with black buckets (711). I don't know if it was an RS car or not. All RSs had Z21 trim code but not all Z21s were RS.

Haha she's a keeper. Everything is replaceable except my wife, son and dog I suppose.

Realistically I don't know what's going to happen with it. I got a '67 c10 I've been dumping money into a couple years ago and with it at least being a driver between build stages, I know it'll get finished first.

I hate to see the Camaro just sit with that much tied up in it, even though pretty small scale majority of cars on here, but we'll see
