Sorry I am little late to the party but yes, a lowing block out back will let you dial in ride height, within reason..

It does sound like the shop slipped with the ball joints, not knowing they were tall's.

I think those two items will have you all dialed in.
      Thanks,

Ok got the tall b joints in. Also, I added the leaf top clamping plate. Visually, it does look like it was lowered a little. Ordering the Ride Tech 1" Lowering block but,

think 1" is good enough? I prefer sticking with Ride Tech blocks, but i think they just have the 1"

The front is way too low compared to rear.

If you look back at that green car I posted on the last page, it has that 1" block installed as well. From the looks of it, your car will sit very similar to it. The wheel and tire size is the only thing that looks to be a little different but it looks like they won't be too far off from each other stance wise!

You'd be surprised how much a difference 1" of drop makes.

Before you spend the money and effort, you throw some weight in the back until it comes down an inch, and then jack the front up 3/8" to see how it will look first.

I would still have to raise up the front since the tires are rubbing a lot now. Needs about 3/4" raise which the 3/8" should do.. hopefully.

What do you have the alignment set at?

I haven’t aligned it yet, since im adding the spacers and lowring blocks. I’m planning to align it as below

      Camber -0.75 degrees
      Caster 3-4 degrees
      Toe in 1/8”

Is That ok with the streetgrip kit?

That's pretty close to what we recommend. We typically look for somewhere between these numbers for street builds:

      Camber: -.5° to -1°
      Caster: 3° to 5°
Toe: 1/16" to 1/8 toe in

If you haven't aligned it yet, that could be part of the tire rubbing issue as well.

Thanks Josh, just for more info, in case the tune up shops here don't go by degrees. what would the Camber and Caster be in inches?

also, you recommend to stay on the low or extreme side from the given degrees?(e.g. camber -0.5 or -1)

      Thank you

You can’t measure caster and camber in inches. It’s degrees....

For reference, here’s ridetech car height with lowering kit vs mine without. Over 2” lower upfront. Not sure why... could be my ac kit but.. really 2” more

Now i have a 3/8” spacer and a 1” lowering block rear on the way... hope i got the right sizes

I can't say I've had anyone have to use a spacer under the front coil springs. You said you have an LS2 in the car? Still using the factory 1st gen spindles?

Correct, LS2. I do have AC installed, but doubt it’s causing the added drop. Factory spindles, control arms

      Thanks!

What body bushings are you using? What shape are they in if they haven't been replaced?

Also, can you post a picture of your control arm/spindle setup for me?
