Honestly I think that grill is too pretty to blend in. I would think the black condenser would make it stand out. I am usually a fan of blacked out grills, but I think this car deserves a little bling.

Another option would be to paint the grille then sand and polish the faces of the bars.
Have you guys seen this build done by Volvo?....made me think of your car as the quality and attention to detail appear to be similarly well done!

It has been painful waiting for the side glass to get finished up but the front is looking pretty good.

The bumper and lower valance look great, I like the driving lights.
Thanks. The split bumper Camaro bumpers did the trick. LOL!
We ended up painting the grill a silver that has more depth than the bare metal it was. I think it looks nice but I really need to get the radiator, condenser and hood on it to really see what it will look like.
This is still one of my favorite builds on here! Cant wait to see it all completed.
Might you consider smoke tinting the lenses of the oval lights in the lower grilles? It might help them blend in a bit more...or maybe it's just me.
Thanks for entertaining my unsolicited opinion. You're doing an amazing job on this build! [emoji12]
Didn't even notice those lights, thought they were an extension of the bottom grille. Old eyes and a cell phone!
Beautiful. The driving lights look fine the way they are, like a factory installed option. If you want a quick look at how the grill looks with everything behind it, spray paint some cardboard black and put it behind the grill where the radiator would mount. It'll be close enough.
What an amazing/beautiful build.
I got tired of waiting to have the glass guy to come to the body shop to finish the side glass install so I had to tow it to him this past week. He told me 2 weeks and it will be done. After that it will be home for assembly.
In the meantime I purchased my in-laws 1964 356 Cabriolet. In order to have enough parking I will be installing a 4 post lift in my garage. It will be nice to have around for suspension setup on my Volvo as well. I am looking for a short, wide and tall lift. Does anyone have experience with BendPak lifts? Specifically the HD-7W.
The glass progress has been real slow. The quart glass is in and it looks good. The door glass has been the issue. It looks like we have moved away from a Ford Flex side glass and am now on some sort of a Transit Van windshield that is being cut down. Here are a couple pictures the glass guy sent me today.

Wow! Glass looks awesome as does the whole car! Congrats!

Looking good. :)
Oh, my!
Thanks for the compliments.
The slow progress continues. Driver’s door is done and he is working on passenger door now. I hoped to have it done this week but that isn’t gonna happen.

I took the 1.5 hour drive out to the glass guys shop yesterday. It looks good and he tells me should be done on Monday. I am ready to begin assembly.
