Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks. I can’t wait to see it cut and buffed out. Throw on the chrome, assemble and this this is going to be pretty neat. [emoji41]
Small update...... The car is on the final stage of buffing. Started with wet 600, buff, 1000 wet, 1500 wet and then 3 different rounds of various compounds. It is absolutely perfect! I received notice that my chrome is done and will ship back to me on Monday. Should have it by late in the week and perfect timing for install. We still need to put on Raptor Liner on the bottom as well as cover all bare metal in the cabin and trunk area.
Once that is done we are ready for the glass, install body panels, suspension and then it comes home. As usual, everything is taking longer than I estimate. I will have some pictures for the next update.
I'm not excited at all... [emoji12]
The buffing is done and assembly has started. The window guy seems to be the slow part now. Hopefully it will be headed back to my house by the end of the month. Here are a couple pictures of the partially assembled car.

That looks spectacular!
That looks a stunner.
Will you reveal color? I'm working on an (long term) MGC and am considering California Sage or some silver variant
Thanks guys. Thanks am really looking forward to the assembly stage. The color is an Aston Martin grey.
I have another project I brought home this week. It is my father in laws 1964 Porsche 356. He has owned it for 42 years but unfortunately Parkinson’s has taken its toll and he can’t finish the restoration. It is about 95% there. The biggest issue is a leaking rear differential. I ordered the parts to repair it and hope to have them here this week. There are a number of other smaller items it needs addresses.
If my wife likes to drive it I will buy it from my FIL for what he has in it. If she isn’t interested in it we will help him sell it. It is a cool little car!

I'll be sitting on the porch waiting for you to come give me a ride. :) Looking very good.
It took some time but the glass guy finally came over to install the front and rear window from Fesler Built. I have been working with Chris Fesler for about 3.5 years to get to this point. I am really happy with the fit and finish. It really transforms the look of the car.
The side glass is being cut right now. Hopefully it will be installed in the next week.

Wow! Looks different and great with the glass.
Those center caps would look really sharp. Are you having them made?
Wow, that's amazing! That paint is gorgeous and the window fitment is amazing.
Congratulations Darreld, you have built an amazing car, elegant and badass at the same time, a classic on steroids! Great attention to detail, and tons of resolve to complete the project.
