Neutral Safety Switch?

I’m in the process of rewiring my 68 camaro with an AAW Classic Update kit. I’m at a point where i need to wire up the neutral safety switch and i do Not know how, i need some assistance. Do i even really need it, do some run their cars without it? I need some options on how to install one if one is available for my setup. I’m running a 2018 camaro auto shifter. The shifter needs 12v to unlock the safety solenoid on the shifter and I’ll be giving it the power from my brake switch but the shifter does not have any kind of built in safety switch that i know of. I’ll also be receiving a reverse light signal from an external module so I’ll have that covered.

My setup will consist of a GM 10 speed and tap shift with the camaro shifter.

Does the 10 speed have a PRNDL switch on the side of the trans? You will need a pinout for that.

Yes, it has a shift lever with those gears.
