Does the LSA Lid fit in the first gen camaros with the hoses facing the back of the engine or do you need to use the ZL1 Lid?
The CTS-V lid with rear facing hoses is lower than the ZL1 lid.

Yes I was more concerned with the space behind the engine. Right now with the LS1 anyways, the back of the heads are real close (less than an inch) away from the firewall. With the LSA engine and lid and the coolant lines going out the back of the engine, do they need more room behind the engine than a regular NA engine?
The space behind is fine, https://static1.pt-content.com/image..._zpsg1vb-1.jpg
Perfect thank you both
gnitro- Do you have a build thread for this? What Subframe? AC? I have a 69 and just bought a used LSA from Loyaltyisking (good guy). Looking to start installing soon and need ideas. Thanks!
I used a couple of Dayco 90 degree bend heater hoses and the fit was perfect, there's still a small gap between the firewall and hoses.

It's a closed system except for the fill reservoir. The plumbing is pretty much the same as the CTS-V. The hoses run under the fender to the pump which is also mounted under the fender next to the firewall.
How about the top of the fill t is that plumbed into the system?
I saw something similar done on the V8TV you tube channel. you can see in the video opening it looks like it open to air.

No, I just have a drain hose attached. That part is open to air. The reservoir needs to be placed such that it is as far up as you can get it. I normally have about an inch of fluid above the "T".
Actually now that I think about it, the reservoir cap is a pressure cap so it really is a fully closed system.
That's what I thought. Thanks!
I hadnt planned on it. Im close.. wiring is all thats left, than start her up.. ohh waiting on the custom Dennys aluminum driveshaft :) Its a speedtech subframe and torque arm set up, Blake and those boys can hook you up.. Vintage air, TR6060 out of a Viper, Notice my custom made ZL1 emblems :) I cant say enough about Don Hutton and the paint and body he did on this car..

The thing I like, I dont think I have seen to many LSA with remote coils.. need to clean the routing up.

Not to high jack, but does it clear a flat hood, or require a cowl induction?
