I'm considering using tire letters on my build, but can't decide if they are cool or not.
I am old and prefer less bling, so not cool for me.
Depends on the car. For a more track oriented build I think they can enhance the look quite a bit. Or for an old school traditional build I think the white letters that mimic the old style lettering look cool.
For a more street cruiser build, meh.
Not a fan, but it's your car....
Seems to me that fad has come and gone, but do what you like. Not like it's forever.
I'm gonna go with cool, I like them
Not...
eh, depends on the ride they're on, a bit tacky tho....
The only ones I’ve seen that made me think “I’d have something like that” are from this specific Chevelle...

No!
I like mine. But it is pretty traditional white block lettering. I wouldn't like colored or drastically different font.

Thanks for all the votes guys, looks like their not very popular with the hot rod guys, I guess it's more for the younger crowd.
I Think it can look good white letter on an old school car that would have run it in the days but NO on a modern ride.
Unless they're Kelly Super Chargers or BFG TAs on a muscle car, I'd say no.
But I would expect those glue on stickers maybe on an automatic loud exhaust Vtech Honda civic or something similar, which is what I mostly see the letters on.
Might be okay if you’re a young guy with a new car and a vape stick trying to get attention at a local cars and coffee........ otherwise I’d stay more subtle. Your car though.
I'm ok with the factory raised white letters like on our Nova with Bf Goodrich or Goodyear's, but those add on's remind me of Lightning McQueen when it's rolling down the road lol.
But aren't we glad everyone has a different opinion
I've got Goodrich radial TA's on my Camaro, black wall out. I am going to reverse them though. I still like the looks of the original white letter tires.
I've been running BFG glued on letters on my 442 with Nitto tires. Getting all new rubber soon and doing it again. In my opinion it depends on things like the type of wheel and sidewall height for how it looks. I'm running factory appearing Olds wheels called SSIs but in 18". In my opinion these wheels don't look right w/o RWL but I also have a fatter sidewall:

Almost every vehicle I have owned over the past 50 years has had tires with raised white letters. My XJ is just the most recent.
