Man, great progress Jason! That grill looks so good as well. I have an extra ‘67 grill that I am modding - can I ask what the black surround material is?

it's just some rubber edging material that resembles pinch weld molding. I bought it from custom car grills dot com. They sell the mesh and the edging in couple sizes.

Jason, under hit reply, go to advanced. Under "manage attachments", click the box and then navigate to where ever you have your sound file located and double click it. As long as the file isn't too large, it should load. Then we can hear it run. :)
Upload a video to YouTube then copy and paste link

Ok I finally took a few minutes to figure out to post a video to youtube and copy and paste the link .
Hope it works. This video is early summer before my re barrelled forgelines were back and ally was still undone but you can hear it.

Very good. :)
Awesome !
Alright guys I'm building out my amp and stereo setup and my rear shoulder belts. setupAttachment 201936Attachment 201937Attachment 201938
Now I ordered morris classic shoulder belt kit for the rear. I want to say outstanding kit and quality but it wouldn't work with my ridetech bolt in cage and my custom package tray. So rather than mount the shoulder ratchets on the outside of the car I mounted both in the center between the speakers and fabbed up appropriate bracing under the package tray out of 2X2x 1/4 aluminum angle tying the two ratchets to each other and then 1/4" X2" flat from that down to my battery trays which is made of 3X5 aluminum angle and bolted between the cage points in the trunk. I didn't get good pics of the mount or the ratchet part of the belts installed but will add those tomorrow.
For stereo I'm trying the Mark 4 out of sight audio and running a Hertzs HCP 5D amp. I've got Hertz Milles for the deck in 6X9s and Hertz Milles for the kick panels but I've yet to install those.
As for the cars driveability I had issues with limp mode at 6 grand and no matter what we did tuning it wouldn't leave. Engine came with a gold blade TB when I got it. Ran the VIN and it called for the Silver Blade. Read forums online where other guys had the same issue trying to go to the gold. Depending on which E38 they had. So swapped to the silver blade, did a TB re learn and wallah it runs hard to 7500 now.
Still got a slight lean issue on back one due to very tiny hairline cracks on the runners right behind the intake bolts. Will be swapping to probably an MSD.
Or do you guys think Fast or MSD. I don't care about max effort at 7500 or 8 grand. It's a street car that will see auto x, drag and a little road racing. But predominantly street so I need torque and power 3 -7500.
Got my Estopp mounted. Put it on the driver's side frame rail of my Speedtech sub frame. Use studs I already had through the floor from my front door bar cage mount setup and used holes that came at the back of the subframe to mount the bracket. turned out pretty clean.Attachment 201972Attachment 201973Attachment 201974Attachment 201975Attachment 201976Attachment 201977
E-Stopp looks great, I need to install mine and have been researching how everyone else mounts theirs. I appreciate the pics.
Well made it to 2022 with white lightning.Attachment 202037Attachment 202038Attachment 202039Attachment 202040
