She is looking awsome!
I feel your pain, been through similar shop run around with my white car build, and it was mainly upgrades, not rebuilding/pro built.
Glad you found a place to get it done. Looking forward to more updates.
Firewall being smoothed:

Got all the ceramic coated parts back yesterday, they look amazing.
Ah, more fiberglass fitment issues - the front end is a problem.
The firewall is done, got told the under belly of the car is a mess and needs cleanup, ahh, more money, the side skirts have been fitted and mounted - they look good. I was hoping to have the car in May, not it looks like end of summer at this rate. Gotta say I'm disappointed today.

So my body guy is going to work through the fitment issues and do what he has to do to make the fiberglass fit. He also think it will fit and hold up better if we bond the front-end together as one solid piece. This will also allow him to fill-in the gaps and smooth the fiberglass.

Finally got the head light buckets mounted, we tried a few different ways, I finally just told him to bond them on. They were thin in areas and it just seemed like the smarted move. He's cutting up the lower nose to make it fit better. Stang-aholics never offered any help or bothered or bothered to call me back.
I just want this car done already - 10 years in June.
I'm doing something different with the truck, I had to raise the fuel cell to make room for the 3" exhaust and dual tips. So I'm having the guy that made my center support bracket come over to make me a frame for the fuel cell to raise it up, but I'm also making a compartment in front of the tank drop area for the fuel system to be housed (an enclosed box to protect and display the nice Holley Billet Fuel Pump and Filters.

I would have your body guy break those bonds apart and make him spend the time to fit the nose to the fenders correctly. I learned the hard way on the 67 Mustang i built 4 years ago that you should never bond a nose to the fenders or fenders to the side skirts! I allowed the painter to talk me into bonding the nose to the fenders and it didn't take long for the seams to show up and then crack. The mustangs have a lot of flex and those seams will show up once you jack the car up and down a few times and drive it around. Not to mention, if you need to remove a fender in the future, you are screwed. Your body guy is just being lazy. Looks like he is smearing filler all over portions of the fender and fiberglass nose that aren't prepped correctly as well.
It's not the nose, jus the headlight buckets...he spent the time to try to bolt them up, the fiberglass end up being so crappy that I told him to just bond on the buckets. The rest of the nose will be bolted together. The buckets had to be right to fit everything else.
Finally making it out of paint shop hell - 11th year trying to complete her! Really took a while for the body shop to get back to my project, but they are really wrapping it up in the last few months. A few more times back in the paint booth - doing the doors, fenders, and hood - then complete body spray, then white shelby stripes, then interior paint. Just 1 more week and it gets put back together!

That thing is sweet!
Looks like it was worth the wait
pics from yesterday aren't showing, at least for me.
Your build quality is great...now you need to invest in a better camera :D
Looks great. The wait is the worst part. Glad to see you stick with it and stayed true to your vision.
Interior has been sprayed with liner. Chassis and frame spray is next. Then finish the Doors, Fenders, and Body touch ups.

update
Beautiful. I can't wait until mine is painted.
The Shelby Nose is made up of 5 different fiberglass parts - they don't fit well together and aren't that strong bolted together. We glued and fit the nose as one piece now. Looks so much better and it's easier to fit. Just have to do the final tuning on the hood and it's ready for paint.
Update
The car is finally almost ready for final paint and assembly. Made a new radiator support to fit the Ron Davis Radiator and the front end. Fit all accessory parts (AC, Horns, Oil & Pwr Steering Coolers) in the nose. Once the new support is mounted I'm making a cover to close in the nose section. The hood should be painted tomorrow.
