I have the SST STX shifter, I'm on my 3rd one with leak issues. Looking for an alternative. the Bowler Night Stick Shifter seems a better product, has anyone put some mileage on one to verify it doesn't leak?

Where are folks experiencing leakage? At the shifter stub or at the base plate?
I would love to see a comparison review of the feel/throw, features and tear-down of all these. I hate a sloppy feeling shifter. Here is the info I've gathered from this thread and what's posted online.
Tremec shifter as shipped
Nylon bushings
Standard throw
No offset for shifter stub
Silversport STX - List $299
Throw 23% shorter than stock front to back and 39% shorter from side to side
Belleville spring shims to remove backlash
Bronze bushings instead of nylon
Application-specific shifter offsets available
Source
Hurst Blackjack - List $239 w/o dogbone OR $447 w/ dogbone, stick, and ball
Delrin pivot ball
Application-specific shifter offsets available
Unspecified short throw
American Powertrain White Lightning - List $374
Dogbone can rotate to multiple positions allowing myriad of shifter positions
Unique independent adjustable spring bias via screw adjustment
Unspecified "short throw"
Bowler Nightstick - List $389 without offset or $431 w/ application specific offset
Dogbone can rotate to multiple positions allowing myriad of shifter positions
Wavering with snap-ring retention to keep constant pressure on the ball socket enclosure eliminating the ability for fluid to leak up past the shift stub
Composite ball shift stub
Throw???
I have the SST STX shifter on my Magnum. While it feels absolutely fantastic, I wish I would have gone with the Bowler for its composite ball because my STX rattles like a mofo at higher RPM under load.
Next time I have my trans out, I'll be installing one for sure.
