What sort of input signals does that fan controller need? A PWM signal or just a temp sender?
Thanks,
Don

They are a PWM controller, designed for EFI applications where the ECU controls the fan speed.
Otherwise just use a temp switch to power a relay when the fans are needed (IE no speed control, just on or off).
Don it needs a PWM signal. For your reading pleasure...

As was said above. It's literally the same controller at the C6 Corvette controller. So it needs a PWM- signal.

You ever have one of those, "crap, I didn't even think about that!" moments?
What's the difference between - and + PWM signals? Asking for a friend with a Spal fan and a Holley Dominator.
PWM- pulses to ground. PWM+ pulses to positive.
Andrew
Thought it was more complicated than that.......
What happens if you send it - and it wants +? System in question is functioning, can't remember what I set it to, do not have laptop to look.
