Woohoo! yep, white is killer...would match my truck! [emoji23] [emoji848]
I found it helpful it get a whiteboard and make columns for the major items, then list to dos under each. Drilling my header panel for that emblem is one of those
Mine was already drilled but my right fender is also drilled for an SS emblem but I'll swap fl an LS7 emblem. Wish they would have welded the up because left fender got replaced and no one said hey
Jason the left fender has no holes and right one has. Five, why do you want to do.
I never thought until I saw it painted.
But that's why I'm going the. LS7 on the side or I'd have none.
I sure am glad I did the white though it's so clean and bright.
I think she will be named White Lightning.
I kicked around blizzard, ghost, Polar Bear but Jeff Daniels the guy who rub the hole car slick as glass told me when I picked. It up he had been trying to be her since he started rubbing the finish and came up with White Lightning.
I like it!
Looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing it going back together.
Ok so I am super happy with the paint job from the rockers up. However the bottom I was not. It wasn't seam sealed but they applied raptor. So I sanded it all down, seam sealed with 3M heavy bodied urethane, and re shot with raptor. Now I'm happy with it.Attachment 190674Attachment 190675Attachment 190676Attachment 190677Attachment 190678Attachment 190679Attachment 190680Attachment 190681Attachment 190682
Today I painted center section on my torque arm 9" setup. Painted it Stainless Steel so it would match my coil overs.
I also cut my transmission mount apart, shortened it by 1/2" to give clearance between my t56 and tunnel. I used the speed tech tunnel raise kit but it was still tight so I figured that was better than shimming my billet subframe mounts.
Also re shimmed driver door to front fender because when I took the Subframe back out after returning from the body shop it closed up to tight to open the door.Attachment 190705Attachment 190706Attachment 190707Attachment 190708Attachment 190709Attachment 190710
Man that car is money.. the white with black accents looks perfect
The build looks great. It looks like the sister car to mine, there is something close to my heart for a white first Gen...
Nice work Jason...sucks you had to re-do that underside but now is the time for sure. Won't have to worry about that again
Nice job underneath it looks great.
Looks awesome.
I am run the process of scarping the old undercoating off with plans to spray Raptor on it eventually. How many bottles of the Raptor did you use?
Thanks qnitro.
Kind words keep us all going
Jason
