PT 70 Camaro; getting started advice

Folks, I'm doing a twin turbo LS 2nd gen... planning all the electrical bells and whistles of a new car. At this point I really don't have anything yet that might limit my ability to integrate all this stuff together. BEFORE I start buying stuff, I'm wondering if there is anything to know, avoid, or consider. Is there a hub type system (Racepak, Isis, etc.) to consider. I don't even have a wire harness yet.
I have some experience with aircraft wiring and avionics, so I'm not totally clueless. Thus the "ask before you plan before you buy" ...
