i want to paint my dash and maybe floor myself. I have single stage black satin for this that i bought at my local Auto Body supply.
If i do this in my garage is their anything I should do to contain the odor? My neighbors are pretty close being I live in a small "City"

Since your not painting the whole car, I wouldn't think you would have a big problem with smell, especially once outside it will dissipate pretty quickly. If your still worried, I would put some air conditioner filters along the bottom of your garage door, and pull the door down to them and maybe set some fans on the outside of the door in front of the filters to pull the smell out of the garage. The filters will catch the overspray so it wouldn't get on the neighbors house or anything else. Just a thought.. Or, you could use a piece of clear plastic and leave the garage door up and fill the gap where the door was with the plastic. then cut out for the filter and fan. That way you would have plenty of light. If you wanted to get fancy, put a couple of filters in the top, tape the filter to the plastic and this will let some filtered air come back into the garage...
