Well after years of talking about it I finally started my own shop. I've been doing collision work full time for the last 33 years. I've also been doing some small fab, body and paint jobs on the side for the last 10 years. I plan on being up and running in the next 30 days it'll be part time for awhile to see hoe things go. I've leased a small shop 1200 sqft of wotk space with about another 400 for office, bathroom & storage. It's a little small but I figure I can get 3 cars totally dismantled in it plus it's got ac and the rent is cheap nice area and close to my day job and house.I'm not going to be doing any paint work for awhile but I'm contracting it out to another quality full time custom shop. I just can't justify the cost right now. Anyway if you are around the kansas city metro area and would like to have some quality fab and bodywork done feel free to get in touch.
