68 camaro Aeromotive EFI fuel tank and Ridetech gas cap install photos

My car has been at the bodyshop since February for body work, and decided to paint the car its orginal color, which is Lemans Blue. The code is GM 71 and got the equivalent code from Dupont.


I finally got the Aeromotive Fuel Tank installed as well as the Ridetech gas cap:

I used the gas a cap a template for drilling the holes prior to painting the car; however, I do not like how it turned out as the gas cap appears to be a bit off center after the installation.

Not sure how their template works but looks like its just clocked and not off center...? Should be able to slot the holes and turn it, right?

You are right, it is a bit clocked:hand:

I am concened if I slot the holes the paint will be chip off, I will give a try though
