Just running this through my head while I wait to actually pick up this car I just bought (link in my signature). Right now it has a 5.3 LS motor, 700R4, disk brakes all around, 22" rear and 18" front wheels. For suspension it has late model Wrangler springs and Lincoln shocks in the rear, late model Suburban coils and new shocks in the front. What are my options for stiffening up this car a bit, short of making my own setup from scratch? This car will be a cruiser that I'd like to handle decent (as in, not a boat). It won't be a track car. Anyone know if there's anything out there for these cars?
I can probably fab up stronger sway bars and get some aftermarket shocks with the correct height and dampening (if I can figure out how to calculate that), but not sure what to do about springs.
