Great build. Can you elaborate more on the iPad integration? Are those little magnets that you molded into place? Details man!!! LOL

Yes those are magnets.. Similar to the ones found in ipad magnetic cases.. Ipad mini is held in place with the magnets on top.. In order to release it there is a void made in the bottom 1.5 inches.. By pressing the bottom will cause the ipad to release from magnets at the top..

Are you wiring it to your system or using blue tooth?

Due to the fact that my mount is flush I will have to use bluetooth.. I will buy a bluetooth to RCA converter then input the output into Audiocontrol pre amp. I will run Focal components and JL HD amps..

So the iPad won't be charging when used in the car?

The decision to go flush mounted ipad will not allow charging.. Ipad batteries last 5-6 hr.. I will never be in the car that long..To me the flush mount looks better than the slide in mount..
