I am interested in a floater rear-end for one of my mustangs without ruining my budget, and I need some thoughts from you guys. I have a set of baer 6S calipers and wilwood 14" rotors that I want to use. Here is what I am looking at:
I want to use the Moser DBP hubs as they have the correct bolt-pattern for the wheels 5x4,5", I have read somewhere that its possible to get them with 1/2 20 studs for the wheels and not only 5/8 as it says on the website.

The problem for me is that my 14" rotors have 12x8.75" bolt pattern, and I cant find a rotor adapter plate that fit these rotors and the hub, or any other 14" rotors. My idea is to use a set of wilwood short offset hatts and make a new sett of holes to fit the bolt-pattern on the hub. Pay a machine shop to make new holes for the hub witch i think have a 5x4.875 bolt pattern

I have this floater in my car with 1/2 20 studs on the DBP hubs, but its not on the road yet. I believe The GMR has the rotor adapter plates to fit these, check here http://shop.thegmr.com/GMR-Rotor-Adapters_c17.htm
I did not use them, but did get my Z06 caliper brackets from them. Since I didn't have any rotors, I just had 13" rotors made with the 8 on 7 bolt pattern which allowed me to use the Moser adapter plates. I would think it should be a lot easier and cheaper to get a rotor adapter plate made than anything.

We often use the Moser DBP hubs. Just specify the bolt circle and stud size. I don't think they do the 4.875 bolt pattern, just 4.5 and 4.75.
Not sure about the 12x8.75 hat either.. We only do 12x8.5 Baer or the 8x7

I run that rear as well. I replaced the 5/8 studs with 1/2". Moroso has a 1/2" with a knurl to fit the 5/8". The only drive plates available are for 5/8" studs. This leaves alot of wiggle room between the stud and drive plate hole. The drive plate is secured by a taper bolt. I was concerned the engine torque would shear the small taper screw and the drive plate would have enough momentum to then shear the stud. Remember the drive plate hole is like .700 and the stud is .500. I talked to Moser and Speedway, and they said it would not be an issue. It bothered me, so I turned some sleeves that press into the driveplate and fit tight against the stud. You have to install the drive plate first and then tap in the sleeves. For removal, you tap the drive plate and the sleeves will come loose.
Here is a pick without the sleeves installed. You can see the gap around the stud.

Craig what Brembo solution are you using for the parking brake?
Those are stock Viper Gen III. If you need a set just let me know. I'm 10% over cost, but you might find them cheaper online. I do have the correct bracket to mount them on a .dxf somewhere. I had a friend water jet them for me.

I always wondered if using C5 rotors for a 12mm stud on hubs with 7/16 it wouldn't be better to make a similar sleeve.
