Hey Guys

I have been working on restoring a 69 Firebird with my father in-law for the pasts 6 years, Going very slow but trying to do it right.
I Am doing all the sheet metal work currently but have had to take a break as I was in a car crash and screwed up my back.
While this project was on hold I keeped going to the local car shows to see other cars weekly when I found another 69 Firebird.

I talked to the owner as asked him if I needed a reference picture that I could go over to his place and take one, He agreed.

One day I'm sitting in my garage when I see the car parked out front of my next door neighbor's place, he is looking at a lawn tractor my neighbor was for sale.
So I go over and start talking to him and invite him over to see my car, while we are talking he says that he needs to sell the car quick so he can buy a new car for his wife. I give him my number and say if you have to sell the car give me the first chance to get it.

Well needless to say he called me the next week and we struck a deal the next day.

Its a 350 2bbl with auto Th350, convertible, deluxe interior and power top. Its had some body work and new paint. But completly stock.

1st Picture is the new car at the guys shop before I Bought it.
2nd Picture is after I put the hotchkis 2" drop springs out front.
3rd Picture is the old car I,m restoring with the father in-law.

Lost of update to come:cheers:

A few more pictures

Changed the front amber turn signals for a set of Illumin8S driving lights and swapped the head lights for H4 retrofit with halo's going to change the headlights to 6K bulbs so the match the driving lights.

Also got the Coys C67 off Kijiji for a steal, running 225/50 R17 out front and tried 275/40/18 out back but had major tire rubs so I changed them for 255 40 18 with no issues.

Also Edelbrock intake and carb, Hooker headers and dual 3" exhaust.

Had to remove the engine 2 times to fix the rear main seal what a Bit^%! painted it while it was out of the car.
