From NJ building 69 Camaro pro tour.Im new to this and looking for help.Bought a car mostly in peices
its all there and all high end stuff.My question is should I go with a resto guy or farm it out as needed.
Im sure ill be here asking a lot of questions.Anyone from Jersey here.

Business aside, some tips to help your on the build:

1) Have a goal/plan/ final build picture/ purpose you want to achieve. Even if its not in this phase, having a full build-out plan save money in the long run.

2) Ask yourself "What can I do? What would I like to do? and What do I have no clue about?" This will help with finding other sources/ farming out various stages of the build.

3) Treading lightly here and not direct to all resto shops, some resto shop have no clue how to make a car handle or perform. Its OK to have the fab and mechanicals done one place and a resto/ paint shop do the body. Know a few that operate this way.

4) Have a general idea of budget. This WILL change as the build progresses base on directs the build takes. #1 helps keep project creep at bay.
