I'll soon be ready to put some rear coil-over shocks in my '63 Tempest project. I'm not building it to be the ultimate all-out road course car, but I want it to do well as an all-around multi-purpose car (street, drag and road course).

Running some searches, I've found positive posts about Afco's T2 double-adjustable coil-over shocks (the 37 series). Checking prices on those, though, they seem pretty expensive at almost $500 each. My searches didn't turn-up anyone running the Eliminator shocks (the 38 series) that Afco sells as drag race shocks. They are much cheaper double adjustables (around $325 each).

Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on or experiences with the Eliminator shocks.

Go check out having Ridetech set you up with shocks, heck their RQ coil overs are only $600 a pair. Personally after seeing the how they work, they are now top of the food chain in performance shock world, at least in my opinion,,,for what thats worth.
But I intend to use Ridetech over all others,,in both my projects.

If you like the Afco Eliminator style, Afco can valve them for whatever application you desire. Their technicians are helpful and can tune to your needs. Let me know if you'd like a contact person there.
