86 Elcamino G Body Frame Upgrades looking for input !!

It' time to work on the Elcamino. Any suggestion to making the frame stronger?? The following is what I know

1. Boxing the inside of the frame
2. Notching the rear frame??? 18x9.5 wheels 295/35/18 tires (http://motors.shop.ebay.com/eBay-Motors-/6000/i.html?_nkw=tires&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_rdc=1)
3. TNT rear supports upper & lower
4. Sand blasting frame and epoxy $ 300 - sub out

Please feel free to chime in!!

PS I would like to find a spare frame

Thanks to Mark Savitske from SC&C, who saved me a lot of time & money. Mark spent over an hour talking about modification for my Elcamino ( not buying useless parts) !!

Thanks Again Mark!!

1. I think Ben does about as much with a stock G-body frame as anyone on here, check out his build thread here: https://www.pro-touring.com/showthread.php?80582-Pumkinator-A-G-Body-G-Machine-grocery-getter

2. Might not be necessary but will be VERY close. I squeezed 285/40 18's prior to my frame notch and even with roller the inner fender lip it was real close...

3. I have thier lowers and recommend them but if you aren't drag racing with slicks they probably aren't super necessary.

4. The one thing I really wish I had done on my build, had the frame off of the body but just wire wheeled/ rattle canned it.

5. Mark is a real stand up guy with great products, can't go wrong with anything he has to say.

I'm going to drop down to 285/35/18 & 245/40/18 on the front. I can get the frame blasted & paint with epoxy paint for 300, $ 500 for everything on the frame. Ben's write up was Great!!! I have the rear 3 Point hitch, I might modify mine to tuck it behind the license plate. I have a rear corvette style bumper. Thanks Ben for the Idea!!
